While he waited for his forever family to find him, Sol was living with a loving foster family. Heโd never heard his foster family before, but he knew he loved them and they loved him.
Hazelโs foster family had gone to great lengths to make her feel safe and secure in their home, including taking steps to ensure that she wouldn’t accidentally hurt herself. However, they noticed that despite her sweet and loving nature, Hazel wasn’t quite as lively and energetic as they thought she could be.
Eventually, they received the news they had been eagerly awaiting: Hazel was eligible for an operation to restore her vision!
They transported her to the veterinary hospital for the surgery, which was successful. Although her foster parents were told it would take some time for Hazel to regain her sight, it was evident that she was already seeing.
The moment Hazel laid her eyes on her foster parents for the first time was a beautiful and heartwarming moment. After all the time she had spent with them, she finally got to see them with her newly restored vision.
Apart from regaining her vision, Hazel gained a new-found confidence in life. She approached everything with more enthusiasm, like crossing the street and playing with toys. She even learned how to play fetch, something she had never done before when she was blind.
Hazel eventually found her forever home and appears to be doing very well with her new family and newfound vision.
